Let me know if it worked or not. Don't you just hate rebuilding systems

I think you know, I do Linux, so not normally an issue, but I tend to get carried away installing things and then removing them, that over time can fill up config files.

So with that and Video and Audio files, most of the GBS stuff is on the cloud as people may have noticed, I was left with 3GB in total.

Had only upgraded from Ubuntu 14, rather than installed afresh, including changing desk top to gnome from Mint, so clear out, and a new disc drive, the 3TB was full, the main drive was only 300MB and the OS was on a 32 MB SSD..

Added a 1TB drive, re installed OS onto SSD spare file system on 300, main file system on 1TB and sorted and thinned files on the 3TB.

Somewhere along the way, bookmarks disappeared 🙂 surprise suprise.

3TB was full?!!! 😮 I've got every photo I've taken since 1995 on a 2Tb drive and I think I'm still in the single-figure percent usage Wink

Well if we are speaking "how big is mine". I built a video/music/photo/backup server using UNRAID software. It is based on LINX which Simon will like. I was limited to 14- 2TB drives at the time but now the software can control any size drives you want to put into the 14 slots. Very interesting and somewhat user friendly for massive storage. Hope this doesn't give the NSA any ideas. A problem with really large drives is it takes forever to format and run parity checks. The box would only take up 1/2 the boot, there car relevant. Cool
