Good afternoon, I am trying to get my tunnel finished so I can add the panels but not sure if I've got the fuel pipe routing correct. Ive made the diagram below, would someone be able to have a look and confirm/deny that I'm on the right lines please? Thanks in advance.

Had an answer already on RHOCar, the correct fuel sequence is:

Feel free to use as you feel fit.

Yes I have seen the posts.

Thanks to RichardL for stepping in, on the "other" site, the " commitee" get a agitated when I do, I just agitated at SOME of the advice.

If you need more info, there are photos avalible, a pluming guide for pump and swirl pot etc, but Richard, as usual, is spot on, so you should not need them.

Have a look at your post on this topic on the "other" site.

An example of my concerns and the reason for my previous comments.

The well meaning post at 11:50, COULD be correct in SOME situation's, but NOT for a Zero with the kit we supply. In fact totally the reverse.

Well, I had trouble posting my previous reply, and now find that a second post from your friendly adviser has appeared on the "other" site.

Suffice to say, I would not advise building a Zero that way.

Thanks again Simon, I will go with the routing of the pipes above in my second diagram. Everything Ive had so far have been supplied by GBS and thats the way I intend to go as I know it will be all correct then. Just wanted to confirm the order of some things as I've not done this before.

fully understand, and I am not saying you should boycott the "other" site, just please be cautious.

I appreciate you did ask on both sites, they just have more members and can often reply quickly, but we do build them Smile

Folks, Simon,
On this subject, what is the best solution for where the narrow gauge flow and return pipes start and stop. i.e. the red and black nylon pipes. Put another way, where do the larger diameter rubber pipes start at either end.....?
Also, has anyone replicated the GBS bracket adjacent to the handbrake cable to prevent chaffing of the fuel pipe? If not, any alternatives?
Cheers
Andrew

If you have a look at my blog, you can see where I have moved from the red and black pipes at the front of the car. As for the rear they pass the rear panel and then I've got about 20cm which is covered in plastic sheathing before they move into the larger pipe. Will get some pics at the weekend as my wife has a boot full of parts for me to fit!

Each and every photo has value. Pictures are worth many words, and may prevent hair loss. Wink The more pics the merrier.
Thanks, Marlin

Brilliant thanks Simon. Good to compare with how I've done things. Ive done things slightly differently, however along as it meets IVA regs and doesn't rub or cause any interference etc, i think its all still fine.

Ill get my pics up this weekend.
