Hi everybody.
We have started to build our first wide body Zero and more than happy with the support from everybody at GBR.
Just to let you all know, we are Berkshire College of Agriculture and building our car with students and they are totally engaged!
On 29th April we will be completing some of our build in the local shopping centre in Maidenhead (Berkshire) as part of our college open day in the town.

I was hoping somebody local would have a Zero built that we could have outside so people can see what the car will look like in the end. Food and drink would be supplied for anybody who could help us out on this and if you fancy pitch in with the students that day

Please take a look at our college video

Hi, I'd be absolutely delighted to help out, I have a wide body Mazda based Zero that I completed in November 2015. I live in Pamber Heath, North Hampshire about 20 miles from Maidenhead so no problem. At the moment I have no commitments that day and as long as nothing occurs will be able to bring the car along. If this is of help, post again and we can arrange further contact.

Totally unrelated but you reminded me of the fate of my first ever car; the car I sweated over to buy, which I first practiced my feeble engineering skills on and then gave to my brother, to continue its journey. He drove it for a month, swapped it to be pay off a bar tab and the new 'owner' donated it to a Welsh agricultural college for their car mechanics course!

Sorry to hijack the thread - good luck with your open day...

Hi,
Welcome to the fun. Not particularly local to help you out but the campus looks nice. I thought it rained more there. Laugh
Enjoy the build.

Hi Keith

That would be a great help,we can feed and water you and if you fancy helping out with our build that day that would be great too. I can also cover your fuel cost, just bring a receipt.

HI Craig, don't need petrol money. Just tell me where to park up and what time. Or I could bring the car to the college anytime prior to the event if you like. Just let me know.
Keith.
