Hi Folks, Simon,
Jus ta quick question, sorry if this has been asked and answered before. What grease / lubrication should I use on the suspension bushes / distance tubes? All ready to assemble so want to be doing this once only.
thanks

Copper grease is what you'll need

Where there is little heat involved I prefer to use a good quality waterproof grease or anti scuffing paste, I find copaslip type greases are washed out more readily by puddle splash or localised pressure washing.
For pressing the bush into the arm I just use a squirt of AC90 (or wd40)

tube to bushes do not require grease, just attracts dirt which makes it more like a grinding paste, assemble dry or with penetrating oil.

It is more important that the assembly is shimmed correctly and the eye tube set to the correct length.

to make life easier if you need maintenance down the line I would grease the bolt going through the eye tube, copper slip is fine, but any general purpose grease will do, we are just stopping the bolt rusting to the eye tube, makes removal easier.
