Had a quick look around and don't think there is a thread which summarises the differences between the standard body and the GT Zero.

I understand that the GT chassis is 40mm wider (both sides - I.e 80mm overall) but what else is different? Are the wishbones the same or is whole car wider?

Any other differences?

I believe wishbones etc are the same but things like the fuel tank is wider etc so they all cost a few £ more.

Been 2 years since I investigated this but in the end the narrow body was the car for me.

it is the body width that is different,

So imagine the chassis, now move the outer passenger compartment chassis rails, top and bottom 40 mm from the center of the car, the angle of the engine chassis rails changes, the only suspension attached to those rails were the front wishbone and the mount points were moved accordingly, those modded brackets are the easiest way to distinguish between the two chassis.

The differences are anything that goes across the car. eg rear panel scuttle rear bulkhead etc, and anything that attached to the body on the outside of the chassis, really only the rear wings.

Great. So wishbones etc are the same and you essentially end up with slightly more angled sides to the engine bay for a more generous cockpit.

Hope this helps potential new buyers.
