Cool
Finally after 2,5 years of building got to drive my gbs zero on the road legally!!! Wink I've had a lot of help from Richards blog, thanks for that.
Some cosmetics I might redo in a later stage, but first enjoy the car!!
The car drives fantastic, it's on the road since january and i've been driving it every chance i have. done a few mods since, like the throtlle and radiator (aluminium).
BaldiGit posted a great mod to the throtlle pedal over a year ago which i copied last week and it works great, thanks.

Best regards David

Member since 2014 and only 5 posts?! Impressive, you must have actually known what you were doing... I have to ask 3 questions a week...

Well done and enjoy - hope to be there by the end of the year...

Congrats on getting your car on the road, very brave taking a new toy out there in the current weather conditions! Can I ask what the pedal mod you mention is? I couldn't find anything when searching?

Congrats. You got any photos to share?

Hopefully mine will be on the road ready for next summer.

.
Was that throttle mod the one using a wheel like a Meccano set wheel without rubber?
Mounted on the end of the upper part of the pedal,( to extend the pivoted height?)
and the cable goes round it in the groove and then goes forward to end on the pedal box front wall.
I'm told this gives more cable movement with less pedal throw. I thought one pulley gave no advantage.

Yves that's the mod i meant, the travel of the throttle pedal drove me crazy.
I've use one of the bearing from the ford throttle body that came with the Zeneca engine. The throttle pedal now lines up with the other pedals.
